Ok now let's talk about the cards I've made...

I am positively smitten with the Butterfly Bliss die set and in true Carly fashion, the first thing I did was use the negative space to make a shaker window! LOL!

I ink blended the background and filled the shaker with chunky glitter. 

On top I added some of the amazing details cut from black cardstock.

And the sentiment is one of my favorites from the Beautiful Day set.

For my second Butterfly Bliss card, I started by pressing the Peony Blossoms plate with black ink to create a background...

I stamped a little sentiment from the Birthday Bouquet set.

Then I added a butterfly with ink blended wings on top.

simon says stamp friend like you release blog hop day 1

Ok, now let me show you what I made...

I LOVE a die cut flower and the new Arctic Poppies are FABULOUS!!!

I die cut the poppies from white cardstock and added color with Distress Oxide inks & blending tools. The flowers are Picked Raspberry/Saltwater Taffy and Saltwater Taffy/Dried Marigold. The leaves and stems are Salvaged Patina/Cracked Pistachio.

The sentiment is from the Happy Day set. Don't sleep on this set! The sentiments are great and the flowers are gorgeous!

pinkfresh studio delights & doodles release blog hop

This release is just the sweetest!!! I mean look at this ice cream truck...

The collection is really fun...a stamp, stencil and die that work together. And of course I made it into a shaker, LOL! 

I also made this card with just the ice cream cone because it's so darn cute!!!.

simon says stamp happy duo

The Moments in Time collection just arrived in the Simon Says Stamp shop and it's packed with cuteness! 

One really fun and adorable set is the Happy Duo! The cover die and stamp set work together perfectly for all sorts of cards like birthday, graduation, anniversary, retirement and more!

And of course I had to use the panel die to make a shaker card, LOL!

I die cut the Happy panel five times and layered four together. I used it as a guide for stamping the "for you" on a folded card and then adhered the layered Happy panel to the card.

I ink blended one set of letters and inlaid them. Then I added some super chunky glitter and adhered acetate on top.

Lastly I adhered the last Happy panel on top of the acetate.

simon says stamp exquisite butterfly

The You Are My Favorite collection just arrived in the Simon Says Stamp shop and it's full of adorable spring stamps & dies!!! 

I am so smitten with the Exquisite Butterfly die set! The butterfly is so easy to assemble that I made a bunch before I even decided what kind of card I was making, LOL!

I die cut the butterfly wings from white cardstock and then ink blended it with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry & Carved Pumpkin. I added a little Picked Raspberry Distress Spritz over the ink blending.

I die cut the remaining pieces from black cardstock and adhered them to the wings.

For the first card I kept it super clean and simple with just a sentiment from Mother's Day stamp set. And a little faux splatter made with a pen.

For the second card I stamped the little town background from The Little Things stamp set and left it black and white.

I finished it with another butterfly and another sentiment from the Mother's Day stamp set. And more splatter of course!

I LOVE the new Spring Clover set!!! 

I die cut all the pieces from white cardstock and used blending tools & Distress Oxide inks to add color. The leaves have such cool dimension and it is so easy to put the flowers together!

I kept the card pretty simple, with lots of white space and added the "hello" from the Essential Sentiments set.

Ok now let's talk about the card I've made...

I started by blending Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin inks on a white cardstock panel. Then I applied a little Picked Raspberry Distress Spritz and let the panel dry.

After it was dry, I used the Elegant Bloom press plate with black ink. And dang, it's so beautiful!!! 

I added a sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set and a little faux splatter (made by dotting a pen here & there).

simon says stamp whimsical branch frame

The Rain or Shine collection just arrived in the Simon Says Stamp shop and from the moment I saw the Whimsical Branch Frame, I knew I had to make it into a shaker card! LOL!

I started by ink blending (Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina & Cracked Pistachio) on the front of my card and then added a little Distress Spritz Salvaged Patina.

Then I die cut the Whimsical Branch Frame five times, four from white cardstock and one from kraft cardstock.

I layered the white frames together and adhered them to the ink blended card front to create the shaker "container".

I added chunky glitter and sealed it with acetate.

Then I adhered the kraft frame on top and added bunches of the little flowers that I die cut from white and blended with Milled Lavender and Picked Raspberry ink.
