fringe flower

it seems like fringe is having a moment...in fashion, home decor and now crafting! and i love it! we r memory keepers fringe tape is super fun. it is fringed strips of tissue paper with a line of adhesive on the back. it comes in multiple colors but i chose white for the versatility. here's what i'm guessing is the first of many fringe cards for me:
-i started by coloring my fringe tape with distress ink and an ink blending tool.
-then i cut a flower from a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 solar white panel.

-i applied my layers of inked fringe tape to my flower die just because it was handy but any scrap or the front of my card would have been fine too.
-then i die cut a smaller flower from scratch cardstock and used the negative as a stencil to ink flowers on my panel (with the larger flower negative space).
-i added some little black dots and leaves with versafine ink.

-i die cut thanks once from gold foil & three times from solar white. then i adhered all the layers together for a dimensional sentiment.

-then i assembled all my pieces...a gold foil "thanks" die cut, gold sequins and my fringe tape.

xo,
carly
