My sweet friend Laurel Beard has been singing the praises of Catherine Pooler inks and she was not wrong! The Catherine Pooler inks have made their way to Ellen Hutson LLC and my craft room folks! I'm totally crushing on the way they stamp...so even and beautiful and so easy! I am not the world's best stamper (by a long shot) and I really struggle with solid image stamps but these inks make me look like a pro! And they blend like a dream!!! Today I have a quick video with one of my favorite techniques, embossed resist, using the CP inks and one of the dreamy new stamp sets Faithful Flutterings.
And see more Catherine Pooler products in action at my friend Carolyn Peeler's blog.
Did you get to hop with us yesterday? We had so much fun celebrating the new Honey Bee release! And if you've seen my cards, you know that I have a pretty big critter crush on the sweet little fox from Honey Bee's new Feelin' Foxy set. I think I'm also just a little proud of how my Copic coloring is improving *grin*
In fact, I colored a bunch a foxes and they needed a "home" so I created this simple background with some repeated sentiment stamping.
Repeated stamping is so easy with a stamping tool like the MISTI. I just...
measured the height of the letters
placed my stamp in the middle of the MISTI
shifted my paper up & down by that height of the letters (in this case 3/4 of an inch)
Thanks for swinging by! Have a happy Saturday! Hugs! Carly

Hiya! The
Honey Bee Stamps Cheerful Love Release is now available in the Honey Bee store, yay!!! To
celebrate the new release, we are having a two day blog hop called Cheerful
Love. So please hop along with us both days to be inspired! You should be arriving from the amazing Jo Ann's blog and before you keep hopping, I'm excited to share the first of many cards I know I will be making with this awesome release! I have a serious critter crush on the little Feelin' Foxy set!
I used my MISTI to create a watercolor "shadow" behind my sentiments. You can see it here in this video...
And can we talk about how awesome the Ridiculously Happy sentiment is? How good would you feel if someone said that to you?!
What is a girl do to with all the die cuts leftover from the Christmas cards that she never made? Asking for a friend. Ok, you caught me. I'm totally asking for myself because I have this...
It's a beautiful stack of watercolored backgrounds and die cut cars (and actually there are more die cuts but I was too embarrassed to show you). I had intended to make loads of these cards for Christmas...
And as I mentioned, that didn't happen so...
What do you think about sending love in those cute little cars?
Do you ever have those days (or weeks) that are just YUCK and you aren't sure if you need a hug, a brownie, a nap or to sit & color? Yeah, me too. And last week was one of those weeks. To make myself feel better, I wore my pjs all day yesterday, ate 2 brownies and colored a whole bunch of minty puppies using the brand new Leading Ladies Dog Lady set...
Why mint pups? Well why not?! And after I colored quite a bunch of puppies, I actually made a couple of cards...
