rainy days & a chalkboard psl

It's raining today and I love it! I love the clouds, the rain and that it is starting to feel like fall! Perfect day for a PSL! The truth is even though I am from the land of Starbucks, I don't drink coffee but I do appreciate pumpkin spice! Pumpkin spice tea, yes please! Or a PSL & chalkboard inspired card!
To create this card, start by die cutting the to-go cup and lid from a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 black panel.
Rub white chalk over the panel.
Use a paper towel to burnish the chalk into the paper and rub away the excess.
Stamp a pumpkin and foliage around cup in white ink.
Trace over stamped images in white ink. My favorite is the Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen. Then add sentiment.
Use your finger or a cotton swab to smudge the white ink.
Die cut to-go cup from kraft cardstock and lid from white.

Stamp heart onto cup in white ink and let dry.
Stamp heart in orange over white heart. A MISTI makes it easy to line the stamps up perfectly.
Assemble card and ta-da!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a great Saturday too!

xo,
Carly

And P.S. don't forget that today is the last day to shop the stamp sale at Ellen Hutson LLC. 20% off!!!
