making merry: jar snowglobe

Inspired by the Essentials by Ellen Homespun Holiday set, I created my own little mason jar snow globe...
supplies:
-mason jar
-bottle brush trees
-ink spray (to color the trees)
-glitter cardstock
-glitter

how to:
-Color trees if desired/necessary. I started with some white trees but I wanted green so I sprayed them with green ink spray and set aside to dry.
-Die cut little houses from silver glitter paper, back with folded cardstock windows to "fill" windows and create a stand.
-Add Nuvo "snow" to trees and dip in glitter while still wet.

-Adhere trees and houses to jar lid.
-Fill jar with glitter, place lid on top, secure and turn over gently.
Hope you're having a happy, crafty Saturday! I have cards and more Christmas decorations on the agenda!

xo,
Carly

I love this idea so much, Carly!!! You could even wrap the lid with twine, too. How fun would that be? So clever of you and what a festive little scene. :)
