- Clean the stamp first. This is probably always a good idea but I find it is really more important with large designs. I think it helps "prime" the stamp.
- Use a stamp positioner tool like the MISTI. I'm a bit of a "bad" stamper so I actually find the MISTI tool a full-time necessity but using it with the large stamps will let you add more ink to any spots you might miss with the first impression.
- Use a larger piece of cardstock. I like to use a piece of cardstock that fills my MISTI so it won't shift if I need to repeat stamp. Using a smaller piece of cardstock doesn't work as well because it is hard to anchor when the stamp needs to cover the whole surface. Does that make sense, LOL?! (Also I only have the full-size MISTI to work with.)
After stamping the Jumbo Plaid Background in gray, these cards were so fun & easy to put together! The gray plaid is the perfect canvas for any color, any die and any sentiment!
I layered 3 die cut words and added a coat of Glossy Accents to create an embellishment.
I did a little masking to combine the die cut words with the stamped sentiments from the fantastic Beyond Grateful set.
And I used Copic markers to color white rhinestones to match perfectly!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
