doggy donut + masking

I love donuts, dogs, Halloween & masking with my stamps and all of those things came together with this card...
Funny right? I liked it so much, my pup might even end up in a donut costume this year.
To create this card, start by making little puppy & donut masks. I stamped onto my favorite stamping masking paper and fussy cut them (though not very well but sometimes close enough is good enough).
Apply the "body" mask to your card front and stamp the head in waterproof ink. A MISTI tool makes lining everything up extra easy.

Remove the "body" mask, apply the head mask and stamp the donut.

Apply the donut mask over the head mask and stamp the body.
Remove the donut mask, leaving the head mask, and stamp the sprinkles with a waterproof ink. I used Magenta Hue Archival ink (a really perfect hot pink).
Now you have a puppy ready for Halloween in a cute little donut costume, and ready to color. I used Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
Have a sweet Friday and thanks for stopping by!

xo,
Carly

P.S. I had so much fun creating one puppy, I made more...
