1 stamp 3 ways - whimsical stitches
this weekend i'm sharing 3 cards i've created with one of my favorite stamp set, whimsical flowers designed by catherine scanlon. here is my 2nd card:
i wanted a simple, fresh feel for this card so i stamped the flower with versafine, my favorite black ink.
to add a little texture, i stitched little black crosses in the flower center.
i created my sentiment much the same as yesterday's card. i stamped "you are" from the essentials by ellen totally awesome set and i die cut "wonderful" 4 times. 3 of the words were plain cardstock and the top layer was gold foiled cardstock i created by covering a scrap piece in ink, embossing powder and sending it through my laminator with foil. i used my favorite quickie glue pen to adhere the "wonderful" words into s dimensional embellishment.
to finish, i added a little bit of black paint splatter.
