rose gold watercolored flowers

we've been laying low around here after being hit by the flu, yuck! but on the upside, a weekend in jammies left me some time for crafting (after i was feeling better that is).

i realized all my cards from this weekend have something in common, negative shapes (must have been my post-flu brain). here's one of them:
i started by die cutting flowers from a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 panel.
then i placed my die cut panel over a bristol card and traced the flowers with a pale pink clean color marker. i used a waterbrush to blend the color.
next i added metallic details with an iced rose gelato, its the perfect match to the new pretty pink posh rose gold sequins (that i've been dying to use).
i used the mustard clean color marker to create flower centers. i die cut the brushstroke hello and gave it a little color with pale green clean color marker. and i finished my card with pale green thread, sequins and foam tape.

thanks for coming by!
