furry yeti hugs

there is something about little monsters that just get me! they are so darn cute!!! sometimes i avoid the little characters because coloring is not my strong suit but i have been practicing with clean color brush markers and how adorable is this yeti?!
i die cut the yeti from the front of a 3-1/2 x 5 card to create some negative space.
then i taped my closed card down to my craft mat and stamped my yeti through the die cut opening on to the inside of my card. there's probably an easier way to do this but as previously mentioned yesterday, i was recovering from the flu.
i colored my little yeti with clean color markers. i've heard you either love the clean color real brush markers or hate them and i love them! i have found that the paper makes all the difference and bristol is my favorite (as it is for ink blending).
finally i used double-sided tape to give him a furry fabric tummy.
xo,
carly
