1 stamp, 3 ways - watercolor frappuccino

at the beginning of the month i shared with you 3 cards i made using the same stamp set (you can see them here) and i couldn't help myself, i've done it again.

i love this stamp set from essentials by ellen and julie ebersole...
and as recent starbucks convert (i still don't drink coffee but i love coconut milk hot chocolate), i was excited to create some coffee-themed cards. i am also so inspired by the ads/marketing at starbucks, including this one:
here's the first of my 3 coffee cards:
i started with a distress ink watercolor background, in what i think will be my early summer color palette: spiced marmalade, abandoned coral, twisted citron and cracked pistachio.

i stamped and embossed the frappuccino cups in white and colored them with clean color real brush markers.
i used 064 beige and 072 oatmeal to create the coffee, 065 as chocolate drizzle and 040 green & 036 light blue to color the straw.

i trimmed my background to fit my a2 card, added a sentiment in lawn fawn walnut brown, and adhered my cups to my card (one with dimensional adhesive).

be back later this week with 2 more cards using the oh frappe set. have a great night!

xo,
carly
