a card to send when you've been crabby

We all have times when we need to apologize for grumpy behavior and what better way to say "I'm sorry" than a handmade card!

When I saw the adorable MFT Island Shell-ebration set, I knew I had to make some kind of "crabby" sentiment card with the little crab.

I have a deep love for alphabet dies like the MFT Essential Alphabet for cards just like this where the sentiment can be customized.

To give the letters a little more dimension, I cut 3 of each and adhered them together with a glue pen...but not before I colored the top letter first with a Copic marker. Colors used: BG11, RV63 & R22.

After stamping the palm tree on my card front I drew a light pencil line to use to line up "crabby". Once it was adhered I just eyeballed the rest of the letters. And I erased the pencil line.

The little crab is stamped, die cut, Copic colored and foam mounted.

And hopefully I won't need to use this card too soon, haha!

Thanks for stopping by!

Carly
