mft sketch challenge 622

It's Sketch Challenge time again over on the MFT blog! I love playing along with these challenges as a creativity booster and I definitely felt creative this week but my card might have fallen off the design rails a little, LOL!

Here's this week's sketch...

And here's my card...

I started to interpret the sketch and then I went off on a little bit of a tangent. BUT I love how this card turned out so I still think it was a success!

The card is my favorite colored cardstock, Sno Cone, with white snowflakes in the corners using the Stackable Snowflakes set. 

I blended Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Shaded Lilac and Salvaged Patina on white cardstock and then die cut "happy" with my beloved Modern Serif Alphabet dies. 

I completed the sentiment by stamping part of the "happy holidays" stamp from the Cool Christmas Greetings.
