Yay, it's Essentials by Ellen release day! I'm so happy you're here! Welcome to the Holiday 2016 Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! To create the card, I used the Leaping Deer as a window and behind it I placed some "stitched" gold foil. I love the simplicity of the deer image (Julie is a genius) with the richness of the gold foil.
Brandi's designs are so sweet and I immediately fell in love with the little homemade snow globe & had to make it into a shaker card.
And don't laugh but I made a video! Actually feel free to laugh because it's kind of hysterical but it's my very first one! You will see that I have no idea how to work my camera or how to edit but hopefully you'll get a few ideas. And I promise it is mercifully short, LOL! Hello! I loved your cards--especially the shaker card, I just love them! However, one tiny complaint--I could not hear your video! I had the sound up as high as it goes and I still couldn't hear you. I don't know if it's on my end or yours--but I thought I should let you know. When I watch a cardmaking video, I am not watching to critique the film technique. I just appreciate the fact that people are willing to share what they know for FREE! So. unless you are filming with an iPhone in one hand and pointing with the other, or showing me lots of video with your hands doing nothing while you ramble on and on about what you are going to show me, I am not likely to complain. And ... i learned something new today. Thank you.

If you hadn't said it was your first video, I would never have known! You shard some great tips - I didn't know to put glitter on double sided adhesive. It's beautiful and adds so much sparkle. Your cards are beautiful (I didn't get to the hop until later and live your sparkly wreath too). Great cards - great release!
