masked sentiments with reverse confetti

Masking is without a doubt my favorite stamping technique but this time instead of masking my image, I masked my sentiment to blend two images into one.
To start I stamped my sentiment on watercolor cardstock. Then I stamped my sentiment again on masking paper.
I cut around the top parts of the letters to create my mask.
I placed the mask over the sentiment and stamped the Reverse Confetti Honey Bear on top.

Finally I gave Honey Bear a quick watercolor, a little Nuvo nose and heart.

diy cover panel + stock your stash challenge

A DIY cheesy cover panel is super easy to create with just a few circle dies and is the perfect pair for the Reverse Confetti Mouse Mail!
The current Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge is Hello & Just Because...
...so I couldn't resist creating a silly mouse & cheese card to send to my littlest pen pal.

The card was fun to make and came together quickly so I made a little video to share...

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

mini stamped scenes

Do you ever have a bunch of cute colored critters and no idea what to do with them? Me too! My solution is to create mini scenes for them (I'm still working up to a full scene, LOL)!
I'm thrilled to be over on the Neat & Tangled blog with a little more about mini scenes so come over and visit!

a summer card with sprinkles

Celebrate summer with a sprinkled ice cream bar card because happiness is rainbow sprinkles even when they are paper! Right?!
I have a real obsession with sprinkles, in fact the sprinkles in this picture are my "craft room" sprinkles. LOL! They are made of real sugar but they are perfect for shaker cards and double-sided adhesive!

Today I'm super excited to be hopping with Reverse Confetti and our theme in summer! As you can see my love affair with the Hey Sugar and Polka Panel continues! I was going for a yellow polka dotted bikini with my background, using the Polka Panel as a stencil on top of yellow watercolor.

To create my sprinkled treat, I die cut 3 layers with the popiscle...pink cardstock, adhesive woodgrain paper and double-sided adhesive.
Then I trimmed and layered the popiscles, woodgrain & double-sided adhesive on top of cardstock.
I removed the second liner paper from the double-sided adhesive and added sprinkles!

What do you think? I might have gone a little overboard with the black splatter at the end but I still love it!

Now hop on over to Laurie's blog and here's the full list if you get lost!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
