I LOVE Halloween (because CANDY! of course) and creating this Halloween tri fold card was super fun! Here's a little peek at the process...

ways to use word dies with honey bee & heffy doodle
I love mixing stamped and die cut sentiments! There's just something super fun about mixing the flat with the dimensional and if you ever read this blog, you know that Honey Bee has some of my favorite die cut words!
Today Honey Bee and Heffy Doodle are teaming up so I am mixing some of my fav Honey Bee dies with some Heffy Doodle critters!
Here are my tips for creating extra dimensional, sparkly, glossy die cut words...
I loved making these cards! I love how the little Heffy Doodle critters look like they are almost carrying happy signs, LOL!
Today Honey Bee and Heffy Doodle are teaming up so I am mixing some of my fav Honey Bee dies with some Heffy Doodle critters!
Here are my tips for creating extra dimensional, sparkly, glossy die cut words...
- Layer! I like to die cut 3 words and adhere together for extra dimension.
- For larger letters, I like to use a glue pen like this. For delicate and tiny letters, I like to add super thin adhesive like Stick It to the cardstock before I die cut.
- To add a perfect glossy or glittery layer on top of the die cut words, I loop a piece of low-tack tape on to an acrylic block. I apply Glossy Accents or Nuvo Drops and then set aside to dry (where I can't accidentally stick my fingers in it).
