neat & tangled foliage frame
Today is the last reveal of the new Neat & Tangled May release and all I can really say is it's gorgeous! This new Foliage Frame stamp set is just stunning!
I created a very simple card, stamping the frame in Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch. I used the coordinating die cut to remove the middle and then added a muted shaker with glassine instead of clear acetate.
I added the "love you" die cut on top because layered die cut sentiments are my jam but the set also has fab scripty sentiments.
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you head over to the Neat & Tangled blog to see what my talented teamies have created. And learn about prizes!
Have a great day!!!

neat & tangled quilted background
Today our Neat & Tangled team is sharing the 3rd new set coming out this Friday...the Quilted Background!
This fantastic background was designed by the amazing Miriam Prantner and if have seen some of my recent creations, I'm totally crushing on background stamps lately!
I love this design because it is so versatile! I stamped in clear embossing ink and embossed with clear powder on light blue cardstock for a tone-on-tone look. Then I added a little teeny bit of coloring with a light blue Copic marker.
But imagine what else you can do with it! I can't wait to ink blend over it and did you see Miriam's card yesterday? Partial stamping and coloring...so cool! (See it here.)

neat & tangled g.o.a.t
Are you ready to see the next new Neat & Tangled set? This one is so cute & silly! G.O.A.T...the greatest of all time!
This set is illustrated by the amazing Elena Roussakis! I often think her designs are so cute that I just want to stamp & color and call it good! This time I stepped outside my coloring comfort zone just a teeny bit and added freckles with colored pencils (on the farmer and the goat, LOL)!
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you head over to the Neat & Tangled blog to see what my talented teamies have created. And learn about prizes!

neat and tangled barnyard buddies
It's time for Neat & Tangled's May release! It's pretty darn cute! Are you ready for it? (Do you hear Taylor Swift in your head when you read that or is it just me? LOL!)
Today's reveal is Barnyard Buddies...
This sweet set was illustrated by the amazing Elena Roussakis! It has an adorable cast of characters and sentiments perfect for celebrating birthdays and just saying howdy!
I created this simple little scene with a birthday hat borrowed from the Piece of Cake set. And why a blue spotted cow? I just can't help myself! *haha*

4 ways to use background stamps + new goodies from the stamp market
It's a very poorly kept secret that I'm a pretty huge fan of The Stamp Market's background stamps...mostly because I'm telling everyone, LOL! The latest TSM background stamp, Diamond Tile, is already one of my new favs! And truly background stamps are a really versatile tool to have in your stamping arsenal. Today I'm sharing 4 of my favorite ways to use them...
#1. Background
This might seem obvious but don't we all have stamps that have never seen an ink pad? LOL! Ink that baby up, stamp and use the gorgeous background on a card! For this card, I used Memento Paris Dusk ink on Bazzill Icy Mint cardstock.
#2. DIY Patterned Paper
Create some custom patterned paper by adding color to the background with markers, pencils or watercolor. I stamped again in Paris Dusk but this time on Solar White cardstock and then colored with Copic markers.
#3. Border
Use just a little bit of the stamped background to create a border. I usually stamp the whole background and trim it down into border strips.
#4. Embossed Resist
Stamp & emboss and then add color with ink blending or watercolor. I stamped the Diamond Tile on my favorite cardstock for blending, Smooth Bristol, in embossing ink and then embossed with clear powder. I ink blended Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio on top.
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you would like to hop with us, here is the lineup...

trinity stamps spring fling hop
I'm so happy to be hopping with my sweet friends at Trinity Stamps today to celebrate their latest release! The new Floral Cross stamp is such a beautiful way to send your love & prayers in an envelope! I created a simple card to highlight the gorgeous florals and I can't wait to share it with you!
By the way if you are hopping along with us, then you should be arriving here from the amazing Brenda Noelke's blog.
The Floral Cross is stamped on the inside of the card but the front of the card has a clear panel so the flowers peek through!
Here's a quick video of how it came together...

blue elephants, glimmer paste & the pretty pink posh hop
I'm so excited to be hopping today with Pretty Pink Posh and some crazy talented makers! The new release from PPP is so adorable and I'm particularly smitten with the new Elephant Friends!
Not only are these little pachyderms completely adorable but they are also super versatile! I had a blast pairing them with one of PPP's new stencils and some die cut sentiments, creating Mother's Day, Father's Day & birthday cards!
These cards include a bunch of my favorite things - colorful critters, stacked die cut sentiments and stencils with glimmer paste! And I've created a short little video sharing a bit more...
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have fun hopping and here's the whole hop list...
