Do you love to give your friends sweet treats for Halloween? I know I do and I love finding cute ways to package them too!
My latest treat package is a mini candy corn piñata made with the help of a few Essentials by Ellen die cuts. Having a die cut machine and little box die is really handy but I think you could make this treat box with just scissors too.
I've got a quick video of how it came together...
I hope you are inspired to DIY some sweet Halloween treats!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Carly

I'm over on the Ellen Hutson blog today babbling about how much I love Halloween candy but also sharing a quick video on how I made this little ghost that looks like a piñata but is really a treat bag...
Have you tried any of the stamps that have coordinating stencils? I just did and I can't believe I've been snoozing on it for so long! The coordinating stencil is such a fun way to add color to stamped images!
Pretty Pink Posh has an adorable fall release that includes the Falling Leaves stamps, dies and coordinating stencil. Combine the colorful leaves with some Cozy Critters and I'm so happy! And I'm thrilled we are having a hop to share some of this cuteness today!
Before we talk more about cards, I've got some extra fun news! There are 3 $25 gift certificates to Pretty Pink Posh up for grabs! Enter to win by leaving comments along the hop by 11:59pm PST on September 19th, 2021. The winners will be announced on the PPP blog.
Ok, now let's talk leaves...
I spent a few afternoons getting very inky with the stamps & stencils and I've found I have two ways easy ways to use them...one image at a time stamping first & then stenciling AND all the leaves stenciling first & then stamping.
You can see a little more what I'm talking about in this short process video...
P.P.S. Wanna try this with some leaf stamps & dies you already have in your stash but don't have the stencils? Try creating a DIY stencil with the dies. It will give you a colorful "halo" around the outside of the stamp but its a fun way to see if you like adding color with stencils!
