simon says stamp exquisite butterfly

The You Are My Favorite collection just arrived in the Simon Says Stamp shop and it's full of adorable spring stamps & dies!!!

I am so smitten with the Exquisite Butterfly die set! The butterfly is so easy to assemble that I made a bunch before I even decided what kind of card I was making, LOL!

I die cut the butterfly wings from white cardstock and then ink blended it with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry & Carved Pumpkin. I added a little Picked Raspberry Distress Spritz over the ink blending.

I die cut the remaining pieces from black cardstock and adhered them to the wings.

For the first card I kept it super clean and simple with just a sentiment from Mother's Day stamp set. And a little faux splatter made with a pen.

For the second card I stamped the little town background from The Little Things stamp set and left it black and white.

I finished it with another butterfly and another sentiment from the Mother's Day stamp set. And more splatter of course!

Thanks so much for stopping by & don't forget to check out the rest of the You Are My Favorite collectionHugs!!!

I'm thrilled to be joining my friends at Alex Syberia Designs to celebrate their new Spring Meadow collection! The release is GORGEOUS!!! (BTW, if you are hopping with us, you should be arriving from Brenda's fabulous blog.)

Now before we talk cardmaking, let's talk about something else fun...prizes!

Alex Syberia Designs is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 1 winner and a $15 gift card to 3 lucky winners!

This giveaway is open internationally, with prizes awarded in GBP (£) for non-U.S. winners and in USD ($) for U.S. winners. All 4 winners will be drawn from the entrants that have played along with this blog hop by midnight BST April 27th, 2025. Winners will be announced on the Alex Syberia Designs blog Giveaway Winners page on April 28th, 2025.

Ok now let's talk about the card I've made...

I LOVE the new Spring Clover set!!!

I die cut all the pieces from white cardstock and used blending tools & Distress Oxide inks to add color. The leaves have such cool dimension and it is so easy to put the flowers together!

I kept the card pretty simple, with lots of white space and added the "hello" from the Essential Sentiments set.

Your next stop is Colleen's awesome blog and I know she is going to have something gorgeous for us!

And here is the whole hop list just in case...
