i found this super cute studio calico vellum in my collection and i thought it looked it looked a little tropical, perfect for a summer card!
after my recent shaker card, i thought a vellum window would be fun so i used my lawn fawn circle stackables dies to create a circle window in my card front. then i cut a matching 4.25 x 5.5 rectangle (which i stitched rather terribly, i suck at sewing) and die cut a circle in the identical place. i sandwiched the vellum between the card and the 4.25 x 5.5 piece.
i die cut a flower from the essentials by ellen wild garden set from solar white. to color it, i swiped distress ink picked raspberry pad across my non-stick craft sheet and pulled the die cut flower in the ink. then i blended just a little with a waterbrush.
to make my rhinestones match i colored them a bit with a copic marker and let dry.
xo,
carly
