1 stamp 3 ways - whimsical cuts

happy mother's day! today i'm celebrating many special women in my life, including my mom and my aunties. so for today i created 3 cards using the same stamp set, whimsical flowers designed by catherine scanlon (this set is one of my very favorites).

and here is my 3rd card:

i started by stamping flowers on my card, masking the back and each flower to layer the images.

next i "fussy" cut around the edge of my flowers, which by the way is totally not in my skill set so i will either be practicing that or avoiding it in the future.

i inked the mft watercolor stripes background with spun sugar distress ink, misted it with water and stamped it on the inside of my card.

to finish i stamped my sentiment on top of the stripes and added a few sequins.
