The Merry Merry die is intricate so to make creating a shaker window easier, I started by running my A2 white cardstock (with a stitched border) through a Xyron to add adhesive to the back. The I die cut the Merry Merry die with a metal adaptor plate (it works as a shim for a really clean cut).
I set aside the letters for another project. I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the die cut panel, which was super easy because the panel already had adhesive! Then I added the letter "middles" onto the acetate.
For a background behind my shaker, I made a quick DIY ombre glitter paper by scribbling on white cardstock with complimenting Copic markers and then applying a layer of Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste and little chunky glitter. I LOVE Glimmer Paste! I'm on my third jar of Moonstone :)
After assembling the shaker card, I finished with a few holly leaves and rhinestones. And a tip from me...I didn't have any red rhinestones but I had white so I colored them with my Copic markers.
