diy halloween treat boxes with essentials by ellen

One of my favorite things about any holiday is the treats and that is especially true about Halloween! A holiday that's really all about candy deserves to have adorable treat boxes and today I have fun little treat box tutorial to share with you!

You can see how this box comes together in my video...

Box measurements...5-1/2 x 10-7/8, scored at 3/8, 3-5/8, 4, 7-1/4 and 7-5/8

Tray measurements...3-3/4 x 6 and scored at 3/8 on each side

And a few tips...

• when using a scoring board for the first time, experiment on a piece of scratch paper first to figure out the right amount of pressure to use
• try pulling the bone folder towards yourself when scoring...I find it easier to keep my cardstock in place that way
• use extra heavyweight paper like 110lb for treat boxes
