creating shaker bits with small stamps & the mft stamps january release countdown day 3

Wanna see a fun way to use small stamps on your next card? And do you want another sneak peek of the MFT January release? Well I can help with both!

MFT has the sweetest little bee set coming out on January 11th and it has the most adorable tiny flower that makes the perfect shaker bit for shaker cards!

To make small images into shaker bits I stamp, color & die cut the image and adhere it to two additional blank die cuts. The extra die cuts give it a little more weight to move around in the shaker.

And quick tip...if you ever have trouble lining up a die over a small stamped image, die cut first! This is especially a great technique when you want to make many of the small images.

Die cut the shape from scrap paper to make a template. I like to put a little low tack tape on the back and place the template in my MISTI.

Next place shapes one by one in template opening and stamp.

Ta-da, perfect placement! And it's so easy to do a bunch.

Here's a quick recap of the MFT products I used...

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs!
