Foil is something I love adding to my cards but I really don't do it enough. Maybe it's because my foil press machine lives in a closet...I really need to find her a space on my desk...lol!
But anyways my foil press has been out the last week and I've been foiling with hot foil stamps & some dies like the Essentials by Ellen Rainbow Card. I paired it with another cardmaking fav, ink blending. What do you think?
...so I added the ink blending with Distress Inks to "spotlight" the foiled rainbow and I like how it turned out.
To complete the card, I used the MFT Arched Birthday die. I cut the Happy Birthday from the panel and then adhered gold cardstock behind the negative die cut.
I decided to make it an infinity shaker so I placed the panel in an Avery Elle storage pocket and added gold star sequins.
I added the white die cut clouds as a bit of an after thought and while I like them, I might have spaced everything a little differently if that had been the original plan. LOL!

I tried ink blending today after watching another one of your videos. I don't know how you get it to be so smooth with seamless transitions. I tried different blending tools and paper. I also used Distress Oxide Inks. Any pointers or a video you may have showing this? Thanks for all of your ideas!
