glossy accents masking + new mft stamps

Masking with Glossy Accents is one of my favorite techniques for cardmaking! Want to see what some Glossy Accents masking looks like with a brand new MFT Stamps set that hits the MFT shop tomorrow?

I started by stamping the gorgeous butterflies from the Butterflies & Blooms set in waterproof black ink on white cardstock.

Then I covered the butterflies in Glossy Accents and used a craft pick to help "erase" any that went outside the lines.

I set the panel aside to dry completely (I left it overnight), and then I blended Distress Oxide inks over the top.

The dried Glossy Accents resists the ink and creates a beautiful effect. See the process in this short video...
