mft playful pups
I get so excited about a cute critter stamp set and the April 2024 MFT collection has some of the cutest, including Playful Pups!
I love coloring critter stamps but I also love not coloring them! LOL! Coloring all four of the Playful Pups would have taken me hours so I designed this quick black & white (with a little Poppin' Pink card).
I stamped all the pups along the bottom of an A2 card and then gave them rosy cheeks and pink collars.
I paired a stamped sentiment from the set with the word "friend" cut with the Essential Alpha from Poppin' Pink cardstock.
I love that it feels bold and graphic and it was EASY!

This card is so simple but I really love it! The new Stitched Pinking Edge Rectangle Stax looks so fun with bold Moroccan Spice cardstock!I paired it with a Poppin' Pink cardstock heart, cut with the Heart Stax, and a lovely little sentiment from the new Pure Innocence Safe Place set.

MFT Stamps is ending April on a very high note with a very fun release! And while you have to wait until the 30th to shop, our MFT team has got fun sneak peeks for you each day. Are you ready for the first one?!
The Best Mom Ever die is just my style! I love big word dies!!!For this card I ink blended on my card front and added a layer of DIY glitter paste (Glossy Accents mixed with glitter) on top. Then I die cut the Best Mom Ever from a white cardstock panel and adhered it on top. Can you believe I didn't make it into a shaker window? Don't worry, that's my next card!
You can see more about the April release on the MFT blog so pop by when you have a second!

mft you give me butterflies card kit
The MFT Stamps You Give Me Butterflies card kit just hit the shop and its GORGEOUS!
Yesterday I shared a shaker card with the Breakthrough Butterflies die and today I have a card to share that might not shake but still has glitter! LOL!
The Peek-a-boo Butterfly die is so pretty all on it's own, I barely had to do anything to make this card! I die cut the butterfly from a white cardstock panel.I added a sentiment from the You Give Me Butterflies stamp set along with a little faux splatter using a black pen.
Then I ink blended the front of my folded card with Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry. I added glitter paste over the ink blending and when that was dry, I adhered the butterfly panel on top. Easy peasy!
I highly recommend heading over to the MFT blog to see more of the gorgeous cards my teammates have made!

something beautiful is fluttering into the mft shop...
A beautiful new card kit is fluttering into the MFT Stamps shop tomorrow and I'm so excited! Do you want a little sneak peek? Well I hope you're saying yes because I can't resist sharing! LOL!
For this card I used the Breakthrough Butterflies die on white cardstock and put it over a full panel shaker pocket. I mean, how could I resist turning it into a shaker?!I used Distress Oxides (Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Salvaged Patina & Twisted Citron) to create a rainbow background for the shaker pocket.
And I added a sentiment from the You Give Me Butterflies stamp set along with a little faux splatter using a black pen.
Head over to the MFT blog to see more and come by tomorrow to see another card with the You Give Me Butterflies card kit!

simon says stamp celebrate
A really happy & fantastic new collection of stamps, dies, stencils and more just hit the Simon Says Stamp shop...the Celebrate collection!
Everything is fabulous as always but there is one set already destined to become my absolute favorite, Flower Power! Seriously my brain is just bursting with cards I want to make with these stamps, dies & stencils!
For this card I used the stencil with some of my favorite Distress Oxides (Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Salvaged Patina & Twisted Citron). I love the two color blends!
Then I stamped the outline layer over the ink blending, off setting it just a bit because I love the wonky look!
I grabbed the stencil again and ink blended the flower middles with Distress Oxide Black Soot. I find that the Black Soot is the best black to go over Oxide ink blending.
After letting the ink dry for a bit, I die cut the flowers.
I stamped & embossed a sentiment on one flower.
And I adhered all the flowers to the card in a grid pattern, mounting some with foam adhesive and some with glue.

mft tropical toucans
There is a new collection of adorable Jenoblade stamp designs hitting the MFT shop today and they are the cutest!!!
The Tropical Toucans set is just adorable and one of my favorite new sets!
For this card I masked off a section at the top of my card and ink blended Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina & Twisted Citron. Then with the masking tape still in place (and after a little drying time), I stamped the tropical flower bundle off of each edge. I find Distress Oxide Black Soot is the best for stamping over Distress Oxide ink blending unless the blending is super duper dry.
After removing the masking, I stamped the sentiment and added a little faux ink splatter with a black pen.
I stamped, die cut and colored one of the toucans. I just love them!!! And I used foam tape to adhere it to the card front. Here are the Copic colors I used:
- body - C5, C6 & C8
- beak - YR16, YR07, RV06 & RV09

mft you are not alone card kit
The MFT You Are Not Alone Card Kit just hit the shop and it's so beautiful!
Yesterday I shared a clean & simple sympathy card and today I want to share something a little more playful!
I die cut nine of one bloom with the Show of Support die set and ink blended three combinations:
I arranged the blooms in a 3x3 grid on my card front and used a black marker to color a circle behind each one before gluing them down. Lazy crafter hack, LOL!
Then I stamped a sentiment from the You Are Not Alone set under the grid and added a little faux black splatter with a pen.
I highly recommend heading over to the MFT blog to see more of this gorgeous kit!

handmade cards to show support with mft stamps
There is a beautiful new card kit coming to MFT Stamps tomorrow and it's perfect for creating cards to show support to your loved ones. Do you want a little sneak peek? Well keep reading!
For this card I die cut a square window and stamped the sentiment below with the You Are Not Alone stamp set.
I used the new Soft Stripes paper pad as the background of the square window and added die cut flowers to the right side with the Show of Support die set. I die cut the flowers from Cotton Candy & Red Hot cardstock and added a little shading with Red Hot ink. The stems & leaves are cut from white cardstock and inked with Jalapeno Popper.
Head over to the MFT blog to see more and come by tomorrow to see another card with the You Are Not Alone card kit!

mft you bring sunshine
Just one more day until the MFT Stamps March 2024 release hits the shop and I have another sneak peek to share with you!
This is the You Bring Sunshine set. Isn't that bunny adorable?!
I stamped, die cut and colored the bunny. I also borrowed a few clouds from the You Make Moo So Happy set.
The background is just a simple ink blended circle (with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio).
There's more to see on the MFT blog today so stop by when you have a minute!

mft bundle of love
The Pure Innocence line at MFT Stamps is so sweet & charming and I'm excited that there are brand new PI sets coming next week! I've got a little sneak peek...
This is the Pure Innocence Bundle of Love! Isn't she so cute?!
I stamped, die cut and colored her. And I love to color but it takes me forever so I only had time for a super simple card. I just masked off a stripe and ink blended with Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves.
Then I stamped the sentiment and added a little faux splatter with a pen.
Wanna see more of the new Pure Innocence sets? Head over to the MFT blog!

mft you rescued me + countdown to mft march 2024 release
MFT Stamps has done it again! They have a new release filled with absolute cuteness hitting the shop on March 26th! Would you like a little sneak peek? (I'm assuming you said yes very enthusiastically, LOL!)
This is the adorable new Jenoblade set, You Rescued Me! For some reason when I have a cute cat stamp, I have to wrap it in "yarn"...haha!
I stamped, die cut and colored the little cat in the box. Then I created the ball of yarn by wrapping a small circle of cardstock with embroidery floss. I wrapped a little more floss around the cat and used foam tape to adhere it to my card.
The finishing touches were a stamped sentiment and a little faux splatter with a pen.

simon says stamp be bold
A bold & beautiful new collection of stamps, dies, stencils and more just hit the Simon Says Stamp shop...the Be Bold collection!!!
There are so many fab sets but I am currently a little obsessed with two new stencils, Groovy Blooms and Retro Arcs!
The Groovy Blooms is a really cute layering stencil set but for this card I just couldn't get enough of the large bold bloom so I used low-tack tape to isolate one flower on the stencil. Then I ink blended that bloom with Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin & Picked Raspberry repeatedly over my card front.
I repeated the same process with the second stencil, isolating just one flower middle and using Black Soot ink.
I finished the card with one of my favorite phrase dies, Simply Thank You and a little faux splatter with a pen.
For this card I used the Retro Arcs stencil with my favorite rainbow of Distress Oxide ink (Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron).
Now I'm usually a little lazy with stencils, like just hold them in place and hope for the best, LOL! But with this stencil I highly recommend using Pixie Spray or a similar adhesive because the stencil is just so delicate.
I added a die cut sentiment with the Love You die and a little faux splatter with a pen to finish the card.

mft all-star high top
Did you hear that MFT Stamps opened their vault today and brought back some of their most requested Laina Lamb Designs sets?
One of the sets I was most excited to get my hands on is the All-Star High Top!
This die set is so cute!!! And the coordinating High Top Sentiments stamps is so darn cute too!!!
For this card I die cut the sneaker from smooth watercolor cardstock (because I love it for ink blending dye inks) and ink blended it with Poppin' Pink or Candied Yam.
I added all the cute bits like the sole, the logo, etc.
Then I die cut 4 more sneakers from black cardstock to layer underneath to give dimension and a little "shadow" so it would stand out on the white card.
There's more about the vault release over on the MFT blog so pop over and take a peek!

Have you heard the good news? MFT is opening their vault tomorrow to bring back some of their most sought-after designs and this vault release is some highly requested Laina Lamb Design originals!!!
You can see so much more on the MFT blog today but do you want a little sneak peek before you go? Of course you do! Check out this graduation shaker card I made!
The lightbulb shaker window is made with LLD Lightbulb set. I die cut it from a white panel and used yellow glitter paper behind it for the background. The inside & bottom bits of the lightbulb are adhered on top of the shaker window.I also added a grad hat on top of the shaker window with the LLD Graduation Accents set.
And I used a sentiment from the LLD Watt's Up set.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more!Wednesday, March 6, 2024
easy spring card + ppp blog hop day 1
Now let me show you what I made...
For this card I used some of the adorable little shapes from the Spring Mug Additions to create this grid design.
I die cut everything from white cardstock and used Distress Oxide inks with blending tools to color them.
Then I drew a pencil line down the middle of my card front as a guide for the line of shapes. I erased the line as I glued things down.
For the lines on the left & right, I used the middle line as a guide but also just winged it a little. LOL!
I finished it with a little faux ink splatter with a black pen and a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Easter set.
