i have another halloween card to share today and i'm getting pretty excited for halloween (or maybe its just the halloween candy).
i started with a 3.5 x 5 card cut from solar white and i added the little b black white dot washi tape to the binding.
next i cut a piece of julie's smooth bristol to 3 x 5. i'm totally late to the party but i have just discovered julie's smooth bristol for watercoloring and i'm in love! it blends so easily and the smooth surface is so nice! so i used my piece of fabulous julie's smooth bristol with dusty concord & twisted citron distress ink and i watercolored a messy background in the corner.
while my background was drying, i stamped my ghost from the essentials by ellen got candy? set and die cut it. i also die cut the speech bubble from black cardstock, stamped "boo" in versamark and embossed with detail white. i gave my little ghost a tiny bit of watercolor detail with a clean color real brush light blue pen.
i adhered my background to my card. and then i added my die cuts to my card with foam adhesive and finished with a few black rhinestones.
thanks for stopping by!
xo,
carly
