with the holidays fast approaching and so many things in our lives changing, i'm excited to document the small joys of our december 2015. thank you ali edwards for the amazing idea!
i knew my book had to be small and casual for me to follow through this december, i can already foresee that there will be no time for 12x12 layouts this year! so i chose a kelly purkey wallet album (actually the 4x6 wallet pocket) and then i found this awesome tutorial by kelly.
i used american crafts diy canvas to create my cover and stamped on it with stazon ink. the "christmas" word comes from essentials by ellen merry & bright set and "2015" is with mama elephant bella letters. the dimensional glittered heart is 3 layers of craft-a-board topped with glitter paper, all die cut with the largest heart from essentials by ellen home & hearth die set.
i created my pages from a assortment of ledger papers and tags, varying the sizes throughout the book. and i started with a shaker pocket full of sequins, made from a 6x6 page protector with my fuse tool.
to keep my december simple i plan to document, journal and decorate my little book with just a few supplies: essentials by ellen advent stamps & dies, a few red & black washi tapes, a few more gold glitter hearts and a multiliner pen.
