cupcakes are always a good idea!

Cupcakes are always a good idea, right?! I certainly think so and when I was playing with the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags, I kept seeing frosting. And so this little shaker card was created:
To create the card, die cut the to-go cup from stamping mask paper and place the negative piece on a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of smooth watercolor paper. Use another piece of stamping mask paper to make the "cupcake liner" smaller.
Use a Molotow masking pen to draw lines.
Let masking fluid dry and then use Distress Ink to watercolor over it and then remove masking paper. I used Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio.

While watercolor is drying, add a sentiment. The sprinkled sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Warm Fuzzies set is perfection!
When watercolor is dry, remove masking with a clean white eraser or an adhesive pick-up square.
Die cut the "frosting" from above the "cupcake wrapper" and adhere confetti vellum to the back.

Then use foam adhesive to create a shaker pocket.

Fun right?!
Thanks for stopping by!
