summertime gingham with distress inks

This card started as an attempt to create buffalo plaid but became a summery gingham. I actually have a shirt that looks exactly like this (minus the totally awesome, LOL):
I used painter's tape on smooth bristol cardstock with a blending tool and Distress inks. I applied tape "stripes" one direction and inked. Then removed the tape, applied it in the opposite direction and inked. 

So easy! The only hard part was the spacing, sometimes my eye-balling is better than others.
And I like it so much, I made more in different colors...
The sentiments are die cut words coated in embossing powder (WOW! Yum Yum Bubblegum...fun to say & so pretty).
