foiled spotlight

have you tried the minc toner pen yet? it's a pretty fun way to add a little touch of foil and it's especially great for adding foil to just part of a stamped image like this:
i stamped the fungus amongus stamp by catherine scanlon on glossy white cardstock. i chose glossy because the toner pen seems to really work best on super smooth and even glossy surfaces.
next i colored the cap of one mushroom with the toner pen.

then i put my stamped panel through my laminator with gold foil.
i "messy" colored the rest of my image with an alcohol ink blending pen and alcohol inks dried in a palette. it's kinda like having copic markers in ranger colors. i love multi-tasking supplies! and i purposefully made my coloring a little messy because i love that the freeform coloring and whimsical stamp look like a storybook from my childhood.
finally i added a combination of stamped and die cut sentiment, which i think is quickly becoming my signature move.
thanks for visiting and happy thursday!
